Losing a pet is hard, and we're sorry. Here is what to know about your Wagmo Wellness plan or Wagmo Insurance plan when a pet passes.
Before canceling, submit any outstanding vet receipts for services your pet received during the active plan period. Once a Wagmo Wellness plan or Wagmo Insurance plan is canceled, the standard submission window for that plan still applies to services rendered while the plan was active, but it is easier to submit while your account is fully active.
If your Wagmo Wellness plan is employer-sponsored, cancellations are handled through your employer's benefits program rather than directly through Wagmo. Start in your benefits administration system if you enrolled through one, or contact your HR or benefits team for guidance. Proof of the loss may be required by your employer.
