To cancel your Wagmo Wellness plan, the process depends on whether you signed up directly through Wagmo or enrolled through your employer. Before canceling, submit any outstanding claims for services rendered while your Wagmo Wellness plan was active.
Direct Purchase Wagmo Wellness plans
If you signed up for your Wagmo Wellness plan directly through Wagmo (not through your employer), you can cancel at any time by contacting our support team. We'll process the cancellation, calculate any applicable cancellation fees, and confirm next steps with you. If your pet has passed away, been rehomed, or you've otherwise lost ownership of your pet, please mention this when you contact our support team about canceling your Wagmo Wellness plan.
Employer-sponsored Wagmo Wellness plans
If you enrolled in a Wagmo Wellness plan through your employer, you generally can only cancel during your annual open enrollment period. Outside of open enrollment, cancellation is only allowed for specific qualifying life events:: termination of employment, a change in your benefits eligibility, or the loss of your pet (death, rehoming, or surrender).
To cancel an employer-sponsored Wagmo Wellness plan outside of open enrollment, contact your HR or benefits team. Some employers manage cancellation through their benefits platform, so you may need to submit the cancellation request through that system. Documentation may be required if you're canceling a Wagmo Wellness plan due to the loss of your pet.
