Wagmo Wellness plan reimbursements and Wagmo Insurance plan reimbursements are processed through different systems, which is why the experience and timing differ between the two products.
Wagmo Wellness plan claims are processed in-house by the Wagmo team. Because reimbursements happen on our side, your preferred reimbursement method is pulled directly from your Wagmo account and processing is generally faster.
Wagmo Insurance plan claims are processed by the insurance team. Since insurance is a regulated product, eligible claims are handled by our insurance partner rather than by Wagmo directly. When you submit a claim that has items eligible under your Wagmo Insurance plan, you'll be asked to confirm the reimbursement method you'd like to use.
