Your Wagmo Insurance plan includes a waiting period between your enrollment date and when coverage for accidents and illnesses becomes active. Some policies include more than one waiting period, for example a shorter general waiting period alongside a longer one for cancer coverage or for conditions like ligament and joint injuries. Check your policy documents in your Wagmo account for the specific waiting periods that apply to you.
Any condition that occurs, shows symptoms, or would have been detectable during an applicable waiting period is treated as a pre-existing condition under your Wagmo Insurance plan, and is not eligible for reimbursement, even after that waiting period ends.
In some states, you can choose to have your pet examined by a veterinarian at signup to affect how a waiting period applies to your Wagmo Insurance plan. This option is only available during enrollment and can't be added or requested once your policy is active.
